We are located at I-29 and Barry Road in Kansas City, MO and offer the Northland's largest selection of highest quality bird feeders, seed mixes, and binoculars as well as a variety of products for your four-legged friends.
 
Backyard Bird Center offers only the highest quality bird seed. - from the essential Black-oil Sunflower, Safflower and Millet to premium seed mixes. None of our bird seed mixes contain the "fillers" so commonly found in cheap mixes. We are committed to carrying products that are made in the U.S.A. and feature substantial warranties.
 
Backyard Bird Center is owned and operated by Mark McKellar and his wife Melanie.  Mark is a wildlife biologist with over 25 years of bird study experience.  He has led hundreds of birding hikes and nature programs as well as birding expeditions from California to Maine and never passes up a chance to explore new areas for birds. All the staff at the Backyard Bird Center are well trained to help answer any birding questions you may have.
